"BLUE" JIMMY: After two seasons of horrible, substandard basketball, the Los Angeles Lakers rebuild, retool, get high draft picks, rehabilitate injuries and play their season opener at Staples Center in front of thousands of screaming fans with a stable starting lineup and a healthy Kobe Bryant ... only to build a big lead, blow it and watch the opposing team celebrate a win on their home court.
BLIND DOG OZZY: Did you ever see that movie, "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray where he has to live the same day over and over and over again until he re-examines his life and gets his act together -- The Lakers are stuck in a time loop!!!
"BLUE" JIMMY: Laker fans don't wait all Summer, support their team through thick and thin, (Laker's TV ratings are higher than both the Clippers and the World Champion Golden State Warriors!) spend countless millions on game tickets, team memorabilia, obscene food and drink prices at games and precious hours of leisure time to watch a team repeat the same season over and over again!
BLIND DOG OZZY: Dodger fans know how that feels!!!
"BLUE" JIMMY: Shake up management, start a massive, shameful, on - court brawl (you got Ron Artest right there on the bench), bring Dr. J out of retirement, move the team to a high school gym in Compton but don't make me watch a rerun of the last two seasons!!! I don't think I'm making unreasonable demands. I have never jumped on the Clippers bandwagon like many others and I've been a Laker fan since the days of Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain ... I think I've earned it!
